Architectural Landscape Lighting Design in Fort Myers, FL

This community lighting project at The Shores IV in Gulf Harbour was designed to transform a striking pool and spa area that disappeared after sunset. The board sought a professional outdoor lighting solution that would enhance safety and nighttime appeal without compromising the integrity of the architecture.

Rather than illuminating the spa water directly—a complex and invasive approach—we proposed highlighting the surrounding pergola and architectural columns. By framing the space with light, the entire area becomes visually defined and inviting after dark.

Garden Light LED Saturn Halo fixtures were custom-mounted atop the pergola using fabricated aluminum brackets, providing elegant downlighting that softly illuminates the columns and paver deck below. The fixtures were selected in a white finish to blend seamlessly with the pergola, creating a clean, integrated appearance.

Powered by a Garden Light LED 300-watt transformer with room for future expansion, the finished design transforms the pool and spa into a sophisticated nighttime focal point. The result is an elegant, balanced solution that enhances safety, visibility, and ambiance—earning praise from both residents and board members alike.
