How we got started

In 2005, Scott and his wife relocated from Maryland to Florida in search of better weather and new opportunities. Weekend landscaping projects at their home soon sparked Scott’s passion for outdoor lighting.

He purchased a landscape company and expanded services to include lighting. But his heart remained in illumination. Eventually, Scott sold the landscape business to launch Get Lit Outdoor Lighting and focus exclusively on his passion.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. After searching the internet and pinging local resources in the Cape Coral/Fort Myers area, we found Scott to be the best partner for our lighting overhaul project. Scott did a nice job asking the right questions, presenting all the options, and working up a detailed quote.

We were initially north of our budget so Scott did a nice job of cutting some of the scope while maintaining the minimum goals we wanted to see. He was not the cheapest quote nor was he the most expensive, but we felt confident he was the expert that provided the most value.

We are remote so the heightened communication was much appreciated and key to keeping us informed whenever any decision needed clarity. Good questions were asked in to keep everything inline with our expectations and avoid any disappointment, frustration and rework. The install follow-up was excellent too. Scott made multiple trips to make sure everything was dialed in and working as intended.

End result looks great, budget was on track, and it was a pleasure working with Scott and crew!

Thank you for doing a GREAT JOB Scott!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I can't say enough about this company. Scott the owner, walked me through the whole process, giving me ideas on the placement of lighting. No pressure sales, very courteous, answered all of my questions, emails and phone calls, worked with me on my schedule. Product is very substantial, not like those box stores. His work crew is very polite and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this company for your lighting needs.
