River Creek Community, Estero, Florida Backyard Lighting Design

This Estero outdoor lighting project was designed to complement a modern home with clean architectural lines and contemporary materials. The homeowner wanted a refined lightingsolution that would enhance the façade while providing practical illumination in the backyard for nighttime use.

For the front of the home, Dauer Icon up lights were installed to accent the Montgomery and Christmas palms, creating dramatic shadowing that plays beautifully across the home’s white brick and textured stucco. In-grade well lights were core-drilled into the driveway to subtly illuminate the garage and upper façade, maintaining a clean, minimalist appearance.

In the backyard, fence-mounted fixtures and pathway lighting were used to create soft, even illumination ideal for letting pets outside at night. Additional downlights were installed on manual switches to provide flexible control over backyard visibility and comfort. Powered by a Sterling 300-watt transformer, the completed system balances form and function-enhancing the home’s modern architecture while improving safety and outdoor usability. The homeowners were thrilled with the result, noting that their home now stands out as one of the most beautifully lit properties in the River Creek community.
