Located in the Kelly Greens Golf Course Community in Fort Myers, the Belanger Residence had just undergone a complete landscape renovation. The homeowners wanted their investment in new palms and lush tropical gardens to shine after sunset, so they reached out to Scott Beard and Get Lit Landscape Lighting for a custom outdoor lighting design that would enhance curb appeal, security, and nighttime livability.

We began by accenting the freshly planted palms and tropical foliage with Sterling LightingSL01 up lights, carefully aimed to reveal texture and movement in the landscape after dark. To complement the home’s façade, we incorporated SL01 up lights and SL04 wash lights, creating soft, even illumination across the architectural lines and entry columns without glare.

The front walkway was defined with Sterling SL07 path lights, guiding guests with a warm, welcoming glow that elevates both safety and curb appeal. Additional SL01 up lights near the entry create a clear focal point and naturally draw the eye toward the front door.

To introduce subtle sophistication, Sterling SL36 well lights were core-drilled at the base of the front columns and garage façade, producing a clean, recessed effect that adds depth without visible hardware. Along both sides of the home, SL04 wash lights softly illuminate the walls, while SL07 path lights highlight low-growing vegetation to maintain continuity and visual flow around the property.

In the backyard, the Fort Myers outdoor lighting design extends into the pool enclosure and lakeview. Sterling SL04 wash lights, mounted along the upper beams of the cage, cast a gentle wash of light that fades toward the water, allowing the view to remain tranquil and unobstructed. A Sterling SL23 downlight was added to illuminate a mature Bougainvillea tree, creating a sculptural shadow pattern that adds artistry to the rear lawn.

The result is a resort-quality landscape lighting design that celebrates the tropical beauty of this Fort Myers golf course home and showcases the craftsmanship that defines Get Lit Landscape Lighting-The Artists of Outdoor Illumination.
