The Plantation Golf & Country Club, Fort Myers, Florida Landscape Design
Situated within The Plantation Golf & Country Club, the Brown Residence features a balanced outdoor lighting design that highlights both the home’s architecture and its lush tropical landscape. The homeowners wanted to enhance curb appeal after dark while incorporating programmable color for holidays and special occasions.
We illuminated the front façade using Sterling Lighting SL01 up lights, creating a refined play of light and shadow across the exterior. Two Sterling SL36 well lights were core-drilled into the driveway to accent the garage doors and columns, adding subtle drama without visible fixtures. Sterling SL07 path lights gently define the walkway to the front entry, offering safe, inviting illumination for guests.
To highlight the property’s striking palms and introduce dynamic effects, we integrated WAC Lighting Color scaping flood lights paired with a WAC Color scaping transformer. This system allows for fully programmable color on the trees, giving the homeowners flexibility for seasonal and event-based displays. The architectural lighting along the front is set in 3000K, providing a crisp, timeless look consistent with high-end Fort Myers landscape lighting.
In the rear, a warmer 2700K color temperature was chosen to create a more relaxed, resort-like ambiance. Mature Pygmy Date Palms and White Bird of Paradise are carefully up lit, while taller Cabbage Palms are accented with Color scaping flood lights for optional color. To bring the lanai and pool enclosure to life, we installed Garden Light LED RGBW 5.0 up/down sconce lights, adding a soft, modern glow and giving the space a true boutique-resort feel.
The result is a sophisticated, multi-layered outdoor lighting design that merges elegance, technology, and artistry—transforming this Plantation golf course residence into a vibrant, welcoming showpiece after dark.
